My Services
I’ve worked with a range of conditions including but not limited to: psychosocial adjustment after a medical emergency or hospitalization, diagnosis, or surgery; medical trauma; managing anxiety about health; and communicating effectively with family, friends, and the healthcare team.
As a clinician, I have had the privilege of working extensively with parents of children with food allergies, cancer, bleeding disorders, congenital disorders, rare diseases, and other medical conditions.
Therapy Services
I offer compassionate, research-based psychotherapy to help you make meaningful changes in your life. I specialize in the following treatment modalities:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavior Therapy
Cognitive Processing Therapy
Exposure Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Structural Family Therapy
Psychological Testing Services
Psychological testing helps to gain information about areas of a person’s functioning through the use of standardized and empirically-derived assessments. The goal of testing is to answer questions about a person’s abilities/skills (e.g., cognitive, academic, social, emotional, behavioral) and, if applicable, determine diagnosis and appropriate interventions. Neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations fall into this category.
Additional Services
Presentations and workshops for parents
School presentations and staff training
Case consultation with mental health professionals

Fees
Rates for services align with other doctoral-level practitioners in the Bay Area. We do not currently contract with insurance companies. It is your responsibility to pay the agreed-upon fee at the time of the appointment, regardless of your insurance arrangements.
If your insurance policy includes out-of-network benefits, a portion of your fees may be covered. Upon request, we will provide you with a “superbill” invoice that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your carrier prior to your first appointment to determine your “out-of-network” benefits. Many insurance plans provide partial reimbursement for seeing an out-of-network provider. Please contact your insurance company to determine the reimbursement rate. When doing this, be sure to clarify if telehealth sessions are eligible for reimbursement, as some insurers treat these sessions differently.
Please note that missed appointments and appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to charge based on the time scheduled for the session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
